Alla Tavola di Simona

Abbiamo scelto questo locale per pranzare durante una sosta durante un viaggio da Roma per la Puglia. Scelta azzeccatissima. Aperitivo del giorno con ostrica, tartare di tonno, salmone, e cocktail di gamberi (solo per mia moglie in sostituzione dell ostrica perché non ne mangia). Come primo una favolosa zuppa cozze e fagioli e paccheri allo scoglio. La chef Simona é stata anche gentilissima con mia moglie dandole la ricetta della zuppa. Frittura di pesce ottima. Locale molto carino e moderno, servizio eccezionale, personale gentilissimo. Consigliato.

Overall a great experience! The Gnocchi Sorrentina was excellent. The service was great as was the atmosphere. Just a great surprise find an open restaurant on Sunday afternoon when everything else was closed

Posto veramente sublime. Partiamo dal presupposto che non ti aspetti un posto così bello dall'esterno. Sala accogliente e raffinata con un arredamento un pó jungle chic, giusta illuminazione, dettagli curati dalla mise e place alla lampada da design. E il cibo rispecchia il posto: gourmet al punto giusto (la maionese di polpo nel polpo arrosto è una schiccheria) ma con porzioni abbondanti. Personale attento e simpatico. Ps: tiramisù... Tirami... Sùper!!! Assolutamente da provare e... tornarci!!!

Wonderful food and friendly staff, but with one very unfortunate misunderstanding My girlfriend and I came in for a late dinner and were met with a welcoming staff eager to please the two tourists. They did not speak English and we do not speak Italian, but Google translate helped us through the process. We only wanted one starter and one dish each, but they gave us many plates of food. In the end it was more than twice of what we had ordered, and a bill that was supposed to land at ~30 euros instead became 60 euros. The staff had asked us questions along the way as we ordered which we thought concerned the three dishes we had ordered. From their side it seems they thought we were modest and they meant to ask us "do you want this in addition?" Whereas we thought they asked "do you want your dish with this or with that?" We see it as an honest mistake and part of this is on our side as we could have taken steps to ensure they understood we only wanted the three original dishes. We felt a bit cheated initially, but this is a risk of traveling without knowing the local language that well. The food was very good and well prepared. Admittedly one dish was somewhat simple: only including two ingredients on a slice of bread. Another dish was just a plate of grilled meat: with this one I would much prefer something to balance it out with, such as a small salad, bread, or something else. For me personally a plate of only meat is too one-sided and heavy. Then again this is a dish that we didn't mean to order, and it could be a matter of taste. We are very happy with the three dishes we did mean to order.
